Horse Description

Motor lies about his age regularly and all that meet him do not believe he is over 20!! He acts half that age. He has a lot of zing, a ton of training, and works best for a rider who knows all the right buttons. He is very responsive. However due to the fact he ran wild for nearly 5 years, without a regular riding program he will worry and pace when separated from his friends. He doesn't show any arthritis but we did baby him through the cold weather with blankets, a warm barn if necessary and supplements. His teeth were recently floated. Free choice feed is best for Motor because he will worry some of that weight off if separated from his friends. That said he wintered well at a good weight and looks quite amazing right now. HOwever he is a bit too much for my lessons as we can only use him once a week and I believe he would work better 3-4 times a week. In his day I was told he was shown extensively, but due to a divorce he was dumped for several years to run wild. We have had him since Sept 07, and have nursed his feet back to good health. Motor needs a different home, or a lesson program with more skilled riders where he would be used more regularly. Trades considered.
