Horse Description
Edison aka "Ed" is a 1995 fancy Welsh gelding with
a "look at me" rock star attitude. (Cute as a button and
flashy, who wouldn't want to?) Ed stands 13.3 hands but
has a big presence in the show ring, he LOVES to show
his stuff off. Despite being in his first year of dressage
work, he has proven he is a solid training/first level
pony (see show results below.) Shown all summer, he
never placed lower than 3rd and has scores averaging
in the mid 60's! He is schooling second and has the
potential to do third level with the right rider (making
him a candidate for the FEI pony test). This is the pony
that a child or small adult can move up the levels with!
Ed has a great attitude towards work and always aims to
please. (No "pony attitude" here!) He is sensitive to the
aids, as well as forgiving, but does require a confident
rider. He also loves to trail ride alone or with others.
He is an easy keeper and is barefoot with great feet, as
well as sane and sound. Ed will be in training and shown
until sold. He is now working the second level tests and
will be ready to show second in 2009. He is also now
being used lightly in my lesson program to teach the
ropes to aspiring young dressage riders.
