Horse Description

Doc is very well broke, has a calm disposition, is very affectionate, and is great for both work and pleasure riding. He's been ridden in the arena extensively, is very responsive to seat and leg cues, neck reins and direct reins, side-passes, and turns on his haunches. He's been out on the trail a lot, exposed to every sort of obstacle, and is almost spook-proof. He crosses water, bridges, is calm with dogs, cars on the road, bike riders and rattlesnakes out on the trail. I've used Doc extensively for ranch roping, for which he clearly has a knack. Doc really loves people, tries hard to please, and picks up on new things quickly. He knows his leads, loads well, and is good with the farrier. Doc is very athletic and his speed combined with his responsiveness would make him a great for a number of disciplines. He's great on a snafflebit or hackamore, but I prefer a thin bosal. Up to date on all shots, teeth, sheath.
