Horse Description

Mancini Martini (Marty) is a four year-old dappled grey thoroughbred that stands exatly 15 hands tall. Marty was offcially retired from racing November 2007, and spent the winter unwinding from the racetrack and learning how to be a horse. This spring, Marty was started back under saddle and is currently gong walk, trot, canter and is now going over cross poles. He is such a kind horse that seems pretty unimplressed by everything going on around him. Marty is very sound, and we think he will make a cute little pony club mount or Hunter/Jumper. Marty stands well for the vet and farrier, trailers well, is up-to-date on all vaccinations and his teeth were floated this spring. We think Marty's ideal home is with a small adult or a 12- 14 year-old rider. Although Marty is in training, and will continue to be in-training until he finds a home, he is still green and is not suitable for a beginner rider.
