Gracie is a silver/grey dapple TN Walking mare with a
beautiful refined head. (In the second head shot picture
sheis watching me on the ground trying to get a picture
of her head.) She is 15.1 hands with straight legs, short
back and cannon bones. Her build and confimation are
excellent for endurance riding. She is a little
underweight but is coming around. I bought her to
rescue her! She was well underweight and her skin was
dry and brittle when I purchased her. Since she has
been well taken care of, wormed regularly and fed
properly she has put on weight and her skin and hair
have improved. I do not know her exact birthdate or
whether or not she is registerable. She was sold to me
as a fully broke, husband safe, full blooded TN Walker.
She will not run away with you. You do not have
to "round pen" her before riding. I just put the saddle on
and go. As you can see from the pictures anyone can
ride her, large or small. She loads and travels well. As
for her negatives she doesn't have the best ground
manners. She is a little on the lazy side. She knows the
basics of riding but nothing fancy. However, she is very
smart and catches on quickly. Concerning her health,
she has no health issues. You are welcomed to have her
vet checked. She will have a new coggins in July and will
be due then for a visit from the farrier too. (She has
hard black hooves.) Don't be fooled by ads where no
one is actually riding the horse! Come see her. She is a
beauty. Her price is negotiable to a good home.
UPDATE: 7/10 Grace has seen the vet and had her
shots. We do West Nile and EWTF, as well as new
coggins. She also had her nails done. Just kidding, she
has been trimmed though and stood perfectly for the
farrier. UPDATE: Just found out that Gracie may be a
cross of Tennesee Walker and Andalusian.
