Majestad Del C Frequently Asked Questions
Majestad is an elegant two-year-old PRE gelding w/the
potential for dressage, alta escuela, Spanish walk,
passage, piaffe, etc. He often performs the capriole at
play. He is just coming out of 30 days of professional
ground training & his pre-purchase x-rays are complete
and reviewed by one of the top orthopedic veterinarians
in Arizona. Majestad is a very affectionate boy and loves
company. I am looking for a home with a pasture or
daily turn-out and someone who can give him the time,
attention, love, and lifetime owner he deserves. If you
are looking for an investment opportunity, please look
elsewhere.
Where is he registered?
Majestad is a Pure Spanish Andalusian / Pura Raza
Espanola gelding registered w/the Cria Caballar in Spain
and PRE Mundial in the United States (due to the chaotic
situation w/the PRE Stud Book in Spain). If you choose,
he can also be registered with the IALHA. I havenâ??t
posted his registration number in the ads because I
need to unpack his Carta Mundial.
What is his pedigree?
Sire: Revoltoso XIV (190101002100737) has produced
glorious horses, all uphill, with the elegance and beauty
of the breed
Dam: Triguenita (1901010021EU273) was National
Champion for movement, beating mares and stallions.

made on Sunday, September 7th. I hope to have it
posted on You Tube within a few days.
Height?
Majestad is currently 15.1 hands and growing; he should
mature at 16 or 16+ hands. Andalusians will continue to
grow height wise until almost five years old and will
continue filling out until eight.
What color is he/will he be?
Majestad is a dark grey and will lighten to the beautiful
silver color of his sire as he matures.
Is he started under saddle?
The Andalusian is a slow maturing breed and is not
ridden before the age of four. The knees are not the last
joint to close as is often thought. Joints close from the
ground up so the knees are fairly early to close before
the stifles and before the rest of the vertebral column
joints. Any heavy work before these close can cause
future problems and strain on the young animal. At
three depending on the muscling and mental readiness
of the horse they can do some light driving or get used
to the weight of a very light rider. Late in the summer of
the three year old year some get broke just to walk
under a rider and learn stop start and steer. They
maybe spend three weeks learning this and going out
walking on a gentle trail. Then they are put back out to
pasture to be brought back to work in the spring of their
four year old year.. Every year until the horse is eight
you will see huge changes in musculature and maturity.
What is the brand on his left hip?
He has a freeze brand of the letter C inside a diamond,
indicating that he was bred by Barbara Currie/Oak Hill
Farm in Agoura Hills, CA.
Why did you geld Majestad?
I waited until Majestadâ??s 2nd birthday to geld him to
allow him to develop more of the macho characteristics.
I had him gelded for two reasons: Majestadâ??s rear
legs
are not perfectly straight (they toe out slightly). Only
the top 2% of stallions of any breed should be kept as
breeding stock. The second reason is that he is kept in
a mixed stable and with all the mares in heat, he had a
one-track mind and was a little too much for me to
handle.
Health?
Majestad is current on all vaccinations, dewormings, etc.
and has current x-rays. He has never been shod, and
with his excellent feet, there is no reason to have him
shod.

the mare
was covered on the appropriate dates
Copy of the back side of the Certificado de Cubricion
where the vet
put the information at birth (marks, whorls, etc.)
Copy of the completed Documento de Preinscripcion
Copy of the microchip stickers
