"Bobo" is a two year old registered Tennessee Walking Horse gelding. He stands 15.1 hands now and should mature easily at a stocky built 15.2-3 hands. He is extremely confident and comfortable on the trails. This handsome gelding is well started under saddle and ready to take you where you want him to go. Do not let his age deter you or you will surely miss out on an awesome Tennessee Walkerâ¦he has the sound mind and willing nature of an aged mount! This gelding probably has more training in his short life than a large majority of aged horses ever receive! He stands to mount and dismount. He listens to simple voice commands. His brakes are well installed! He even neck reins, backs and canters!! He has been exposed to all types of terrain, barking dogs and other livestock, bicycles, traffic including motorcycles, lawn mowers, tractors, and heavy equipment, etc. He does great ridden out alone, or in large groups, whether it is leading the group, somewhere in the middle, or happily bringing up the rear. He has perfect ground manners. He leads walking along beside you, without pulling or pushing, and stops when you stop. He is kind and gentle, a true âin your pocketâ kind of fella! Anyone who has a little riding experience would have NO problems handling Bobo. This gelding will not miss a step and is calm and confident on the trails. He is not spooky and is used to riding with dogs. He has absolutely NO vices and no health issues. A horse with this mindset just gets better and better with age - the kind of horse that will be a lifelong trail friend for someone! He is super smooth and naturally gaited. He loves the trails and clearly enjoys this job, however, he does have a way of going that would easily take some ribbons if you enjoy the limelight of the show world! He sets up in the bridle and carries himself like a bold champion but will still walk easily on a loose rein! He is a great Western Trail Pleasure or Lite-shod prospect! His build and conformation are perfect and he is sure to draw every eye, whether you are in the show ring or out on the trails, all eyes will be on you and this gorgeous gelding, as he glides by!
