Horse Description

Dutchess came from an abused home, she was
neglected and she and her weanling came to me very
skinny and in poor condition. She has put on alot of
weight and now looks very healthy. she is fed soaked
beet pulp and feed and does very well on it., I do not
have the time to work with her. I was told she was
ridden years ago but she hasn't been worked with for a
long time. I did saddle her and she did fine with that but
when you put weight in the stirup she was less than
pleased. I have never broke a horse and I can tell you i
am to scared to start.. I simply cannot afford to keep a
horse that we cannot ride. She is skiddish. She will need
to go to a loving home with and experienced rider with
lots a patience . I do not want her going to any home
that uses violence to train. So if that's your method
please do not reply. She has had enough of that in her
lifetime. She is very loving when she is on a lead but is
very reluctant to be touched. She is lunged often. I
would really like whoever takes her to adhere to her
diet, she does extremely well on it. I also have her colt
that i would be willing to sell if you would be willing to
buy them together for $1000.00
