Horse Description
Ava is a bay 4 YO, 16.2H Friesian/Thoroughbred cross
mare with loads of character. She has all the
characteristics of the Friesian - lots of LONG flowing
mane and tail and the inquisitive kind personality. She
did not regress in training over the winter and rode right
off when I rode her for the first time recently.
Flexed,, turned, stopped and back as if she had been
ridden yesterday. Ava is smart, trains easily, gentle,
devoted and moves smoothly. Have done some
desensitizing using the Parelli method. Have not done
any trail training. Will leave that up to her new owner.
She just wants to please, but is not for a beginner or an
inexperienced rider. Due to a personal injury this
summer, I have not been able to saddle her till
recently. Ava has been ponied without any problems,
stands for farrier,and trailer loads Up to date on
inoculations and worming. Video available on request.
I am listing her for sale because I have too many
horses in training and can�¢ï¿½ï¿½t do
justice to all of
them
and
I need a shorter horse.
