| Horse Description |
|
This big, leggy, 16hh, honest
young man is ready to become
your amateur dressage horse,
hunter jumper, trail horse or
exhibition horse. I have
reduced his price as I blew
out my knee and so have not
been able to finish him. I am
therefore selling him for the
PRICE OF A YEARLING. He has 7
mos pro natural horsemanship
on him, and is a sweet, pocket
pony. Does well with other
horses (middle of pecking
order), and used to dogs,
sheep, miniature horses, goats
etc. He is very handsome and a
pretty face (does not have the
coarse head found in many
Spanish horses). He is filling
out nicely and getting a nice
chest and topline. He is very
leggy, but not narrow- very
well balanced and elegant
conformation. Very fluid
mover- smooth as silk to sit
and Does nOT have the severe
winging found in some
Andalusians! Evaluated by an
FEI dressage rider who's
comments included "wonderful
disposition" and that he
should be able to move through
the levels and score well with
a competent amateur rider. He
is working in side reins and
getting rounder, with a nice,
flexible, open shoulder. He
should also do well over
fences. He has started trails
and enjoys it- never has
bolted, spun, reared or bucked
even from the beginning. He is
a great first green horse and
has the type of personality
that will likely end up being
the ranch babysitter. Always a
barn favorite! He is IALHA
registered and has the
bloodlines of Ducado (National
Best Movement Champion)and
Gremlan Farms' Guarapo and
Ladina (2 of their most famous
and excellent producing horses).
