Horse Description
Are you a talented rider looking for a nice horse at a
great price? Then, Julius may be for you.

Gorgeous dark brown/black, 17H, reg. Dutch
Warmblood. German bred, imported as a young horse.
Injured right eye on trip and is visual only in his left
eye. Despite this, adjusted well & achieved
commendable level of dressage training. As per a
previous owner, could do flying changes down to every
3 strides, knew all lateral work in trot & canter, etc. 2.5
yrs ago. Photos show this. He changed hands, fell into a
poor situation, & 11 months ago I got him. He was thin &
in poor condition. We re-shod him, fed him, got UTD
worming & shots, worked to get him back in shape, etc.
Tons of work, but worth it.

Hacking has put muscle back on him and it is time for a
good rider with time to return him to full potential. High
quality horse that needs consistent handling & riding by
knowledgeable person. Nice horse, but not for the
inexperienced. Can spook, & requires good rider to
handle. Sweet, loves to be brushed, comes when called.
Great lungeing. Wonderful canter, good trot & walk.
Easy shoulder-in & travers. An experienced rider
w/limited funds could find Julius to be their Dream
Horse. If you are a good rider w/experience to take this
