Horse Description

Reg Spotted Draft 7 yr old mare, black/white, 16.1 hands and we est. she weighs about 1500 lbs. Her breeding is 1/2 Belgian & 1/2 Spotted Saddle Horse. She is a powerfully built mare. Although she isn't a finished mare, she recently moved near a state park and have been riding her through woods and belly deep up and down a creek. This park is loaded with wildlife, and we're pleased at how well she's doing with all the strange smells, obstacles, rocks and hills. We've nicknamed her "What's next?" from her attitude. She's carrying 275+ lbs in the photo where she's being ridden double. The lady in front is 5'9" tall. This was the first time we asked her to ride double and she accepted that and the weight like it was nothing. A trainer that rode her described her "handy", and said she gets around herself well. She loads, hauls, bathes, clips, and stands for the farrier politely. She is sound, healthy, Coggins negative, and UTD on all shots, worming, teeth floating, etc. She sees the farrier every six weeks, has great feet and is wearing regular shoes. This is an eager horse just coming into her prime who isn't working. Serious buyers with good homes ONLY, please. We expect her to sell at or near this reduced price.
