Horse Description

I chose Kelsey to be my "keeper" filly when I quit
breeding. Had the looks & disposition I had bred for
many years. However, she has more potential than I
will use. She is a show type horse that would look great
on the rail - pretty head, will be taller (near 15 now
without any pushing - has lots of growing still to do),long
thick mane & tail, & she is so happy to go slow! The 4th
time she had anything placed on her back, I loped her
both ways in the arena & she naturally took her correct
leads. Plus she goes on a loose rein. She has had
minimal riding but been started correctly. No buck, no
fuss if its a week or more between rides either. Her
family has a history of being producers of good lookin
foals that can show so she could earn her keep
producing as well as riding. She is not a speed horse
prospect. If you want a fancy looker that is fun to work
with for shows (would be great prospect for youth to
show) or a real enjoyable mount for leisurely trail riding,
check her out. I don't show anymore nor do much
trailriding - usually working cows on horseback - so she
would really be wasted by me keeping her. Her dam's
side has shown natural interest in cattle but can't see
Kelsey doing more than slowly bringing up stragglers
from the rear. Will only place her in a home that is the
right fit for her but she will be a TOTAL BARGAIN if I find
the right person - willing to deal. Photo from early
