********Price Reduced********* $1,500******** for
this beautiful mare. Her barn name is Mercedes and she
foaled her first foal, a red dun stud colt on Kentucky
Derby Day! We call him Tuff-short for Tuff He Da Man.
She is currently open for breeding. She is handleable
and leadable but not rideable.... We purchased her 2
years ago in Texas for broodmare purposes but now we
are selling all of our QH's and getting back to raising just
foundation appaloosas. We are selling her strictly for a
broodmare as she is not broke to ride. Mercedes is very
easy on the eyes, easy keeper and she has an arabian
type dished face with big quarter jowls and big pretty
eyes....she's well-built....healthy and sound and would
make a great broodmare for anyone's breeding
program...she had no trouble foaling (15 minutes with
her first foal) and produced lots of milk. We still have
too many horses, and we mainly raise appys so, we are
selling our QH's....including our red dun stallion...Tuff's
sire. She will be sold as registered mare even though
the papers are in the process of being changed through
AQHA for having an incorrect dam listed that shows up
on allbreedpedigree.com. The recorded dam was Doc
Lupita but DNA proved it is Twink Em Rich instead, which
both mares are owned by same horse company. They
got switched around when the owner passed away and
the son took over. She will have basically the same
bloodlines anyway, just a different dam. All I had to do
was send $50 and 4 new pics to AQHA so it should only
be about 3-4 weeks for the corrected registration papers
to be back in hand. Her red dun colt can be purchased
(with her) for an extra $500 or separately for
$750 .....Tuff is eligible for AQHA incentive fund AND
eligible to compete in futurities during their weanling
through aged lifetime with KQHBA (Kentucky QH
Breeders Assoc.). His sire was nominated for 2007,
2008 and stands in Kentucky at our ranch. He is 5
months old as of Oct 3rd. He has been away from mom
since 9/17/08, according to the almanac and he has
settled in nicely being away from her. She doesn't even
look his way now that she is out with the other mares.
He called to her the first 3 days and nights then,
accepted his weaning process with little trouble. He is
very athletic and would be great to show or train for
trails, barrels, cutting, or other related disciplines. He
would make a good all-around gelding or a nice little
incentive fund stallion. Tuff will be approx 14.3HH when
mature. A coggins can be drawn if someone is
interested in the mare or colt...and it should only take 2-
3 days for the results being hand delivered to the
lab....so don't miss out on this 2 for 1 deal priced at
$2000. Call or email for more info and pictures and the
link to our website is (www.sacredwindwalker.com)
SHIPPING is FREE up to 100 Miles! Thereafter, 1.65 per
mile loaded....
