Horse Description
Scout is nearly as broad as he is tall. That's why we call
him Stout. He is truly a "Do it all" horse!! He is gentle
enough for children, but sturdy enough for large riders.
He has competed in Barrel Racing and Team Penning
and did well in both. He won Team Penning just the
weekend before last! He has also been shown in halter
and has the build for it!!!
He has done 4-H Drill Team, Parades and will carry
flags!!! Scout can play mounted basketball, mounted
soccer, you can fly a kite on him while cantering. He can
square dance in a formation with 7 other horses, and he
is great with things such as tarps, gates, huge beach
balls, creeks etc.
He will ride bareback with just a halter, he neck reins
very well and doubles, even at a canter!! He is such a
fun horse to have around!!!
Scout will walk calmly with a beginner in an arena and
then be ready to get up and go when you are ready to
chase cows. He is great at cutting them out of the heard
and at chasing them to the pen.

Scout has just gotten a new pair of front shoes and is
current on vaccinations and worming (all given Oct
2008) He also just had his teeth floated this month!! He
is ready to go to his new home!
