Horse Description
"Altair" is a 2 year old Gelding. He's 15hh, he'll be 3 in March of 2009. He leads well, has been shown in halter 3 times this season as a 2 year old. He 'parks out' great & trots nicely when you lead him. He lunges with a lungeline or free lunges, either way he's great. He listens to his commands & picks everything up quickly. He crossties, ties, clips, bathes, loads & hauls well. He's good for the farrier & the vet. He'd be a great huntseat or western horse. He may even go saddleseat, but I think he'd excel in hunt or western. His teeth were done in January & all his shots are UTD as well as negative 2008 coggins test. He's had a bitting rig on (& didn't mind at all) bit in his mouth & curcingle on), I haven't broke him to ride yet mainly b/c I'm busy with my other horses plus I wanted him to "grow up" a bit more first. I wasn't in too much of a hurry with him. I'll start longlining him soon if he's not sold. He's super cute & has the perfect tippy ears! Altair is a light chestnut with Flaxen mane & tail & 4 whites & cute facial markings. Please email me for more information & pictures.
