Horse Description
Roses Sundance Kid, "Sheyne", is a 12 year old chestnut registered AQHA mare that stands 14.3 hh. She is a pretty little athletic mare that has been ridden western trail, trained western stock horse, beginning dressage, English hunt seat and has jumped. Western trainers and Dressage trainers both see potential in this girl. She has logged countless miles on the trails and she is fearless! On the trail she crosses water, ditches, bridges and she leads or follows. She has worked cattle, been around goats, sheep, dogs, cats, and donkeys. She has even worked a children's summer camp. She ground ties, cross ties, loads and clips. She has completed Parelli Level 1 and is well on her way to completing Level 2. She has dragged logs, ponied other horses, dallied and been roped off of. She is also a proven broodmare. She has lived with mares or geldings and done fine with both. She has been barefoot and shod, out 24/7 or stalled part of the day - either is fine with her. Never lame a day in the 3 years I've had her! Sheyne will do best with an experienced athletic rider who can handle a dominant mare. She is extremely bright and quickly picks up new concepts but can also be very headstrong and opinionated. Sheyne would LOVE a job and regular riding because you just can't wear this girl out!
