Twin Hills Sand Man AKA Percy is a big gentle sorrel gelding. Percy is a USTPA MOney Earner in both Team Penning and Ranch Sorting. Is registered with HorseFax and has won money in sanctioned, affiliated and non affilate shows. Percy sidepasses, spins, reins, and loves to cow work. Once he's hooked you better hold on. Percy is considered an amateur and novice level team penner. You can also open and close gates on him and trail ride til the sun goes down, will cross water without hesitation. Based on his size and cow ability he would make a good heading prospect for someone willing to 'show him the ropes' so to speak. He is a gentle boy, a gentleman in the pasture with mares, ponies, colts, donkeys, no matter, he's a good boy, doesn't act up. Practically loads himself into the trailer, stands tied, no vices, stands for the farrier, bathes, will stand ground tight. He's a wonderful horse and has been a real pleasure to own. I have purchased an open level penner, and unfortunately cannot afford to keep Percy as well. Although my 4 kids are all over him, I do NOT consider him kidsafe for riding. He's alot of horse and is very quick.
