Horse Description
Very pretty leopard appaloosa mare. Excellent conformation and athletic ability. We bought 3 really nice appy mares from a breeding farm that was selling out. Dancer was green broke when we got her and we had a couple weeks tune-up put on her. At the end of that 2 weeks, the trainer took her out for a 3 hour trail ride by herself, and she did great. She had never crossed a creek before, and this one had a thin layer of ice that she had to step through to get across. Dancer was hesitant, but stayed calm and went across carefully. On the way back, she didn't hesitate going across. She has a good extended trot, lots of stamina, and a heart to match. She's very friendly, responsive and willing. She saddles up great and lunges well. I wish I had time to get her into condition...she'll make a wonderful trail or endurance horse. Dancer will be an excellent mount for a fairly experienced rider. She needs a confident person who won't let her call the shots. When she knows you won't give in, she's wonderful, but she'll test. Dancer has straight legs, good bone, and hard hooves. She's healthy and sound, never been bred, and has never been injured. Loads great, ties, OK with feet, etc. We sticked her at 14.1+, but she looks bigger. She's solid without being bulky. Beautiful horse!!! I have Dancer priced low because I just got several other horses and don't have time for her. We have an indoor riding arena to try her out.
