Summer is a 6 yr old green broke mare. She knows neck reining, she backs up, goes forward, knows leg cues. Shes been ridden in a hackamore, but I just started her in a snaffle. She needs more work with that. Shes been ridden western. Shes very smart and willing and shes loves people and attention. She is not mean, and has never bit, kicked, or even laid her ears back at me. She has very good hooves. Shes never been sick or lame. She is a little cow-hocked on back legs, but it doesnt effect her at all. She doesnt click her hooves together at all, and she moves just fine. Shes just not entirely straight legged. Shes Arab/Quarter Horse/Saddlebred. Shes only green broke, so she needs an experienced rider. Possibly with gentle training, she might be able to have a knowledgable kid ride her. She is a very good horse, there is no doubt about that, but i dont have the time or knowledge it will take to make her a good horse. She has a lot of potential, especially for roping, I think. I started working with her on that for awhile, and she knows the rope, swinging it over her head and touching her all over with it. She would stand still while I dismounted and walked over to untangle the rope from where I threw it. $500 I love this mare and want her to go to a good forever home.
