Horse Description

Scales of Justice aka "justice" is a papered percheron gelding. He was brought over to Newfoundland from Nova Scotia as a yearling to St.John's, NL where he was later sold to a gentleman in the town of Cormack, NL and then sold to us. He is currently 13 years old, approx 17 hh, and approx 1450 lbs. Justice has been ridden by all ages both western and english, and is also broke to both single and double. He trailers like a dream, is excellent for both vet and farrier, road safe, etc. He is totally black, he has a few white hairs (like three) on his forehead thats it. I've ridden this boy in the christmas parade on one occasion and the sirens and other strange noises didn't faze him. He's also done birthdays, weddings, graduations, etc. Justice can be ridden by all level riders from total beginner to high experience. The young girls that ride our horses harness him up and hitch him to our two wheel cart and go over town for Tim Hortins.

You can go up to him in the pasture, grab his mane, jump on, and ride. Nothing else required. He's AMAZING !

Our reason for selling is that we are no longer doing weddings and such so we don't need a draft anymore.
