Horse Description
Murphy is the sweetest horse. He is the first one to come up to you in the pasture and loves to give kisses. He is a beautiful horse and an easy keeper to be such a big boy.




Murphy comes from a life of showing and jumping. He began to get "sour" and right now prefers to enjoy relaxing trail rides. He does great on the trails. He prefers to follow but will lead also.




He will cross creeks, logs and bridges, even the old wooden ones. He does great with dogs following along also. He is great in the pasture with mares, gelding, yearlings and ponies. He LOVES ponies!! He is not afraid of goats and donkeys.




If someone took the time and had patience with him, he would probably be able to make it in the show scene again. He was jumping up to 3' and still loves to jump, but he gets nervous at an arena or when "schooled on" too much. He is really loving being a trail horse right now! He would probably benefit best from an intermediate or advanced rider.
