Horse Description

Pandora is a American Bashkir Curly Horse. She's a minimal curly though, so her mane & tail is wavy, and her body coat is smooth, like a regular horse. Curlies are a rare breed of hypoallergenic horses, meaning that if you are allergic to regular horses, you will have less of a reaction, or no reaction at all, to a curly horse. Her papers are pending, and she will be DNA tested too. I'm just waiting to get them back. She can also be registered with ICHO, International Curly Horse Org. She is a very sweet horse to work with, and has good ground manners. She leads, loads, ties, and picks up her feet. I have tossed a saddle blanket around on her, from her neck to her back to her rump (and let it fall off of her) from both sides, and she's good with it. I think she'll be very easy to train, and I would be riding her right now if I had more time. I had wanted her brother (a palomino curly stud colt), so ended up with both of them doing a trade. I really hadn't planned on getting another horse, and don't have the time for her that she deserves. She loves to be worked with, and comes right up to you when you go in the pasture, and stands around by you to be fussed over & petted.
