Horse Description
Ziggy is a beautiful 16hh Appaloosa mare with a very bright show future ahead of her. She is one in a line of full siblings that have excelled in numerous disciplines, including all around and straight English. All her siblings are excellent movers and have very good dispositions. Her full brother is an ApHCC supreme member of the breed. One full sister is in Europe, another is doing cross country, others are in recreational, show and 4H homes. Ziggy will follow in the successful footsteps of her siblings. Ziggy had 8 months of professional training before starting her show career as a 4 year old in May, 2008. Since we purchased Ziggy in February, 2008, she has had 2 months of training with Roxanne Dewes. She attended over 12 shows including 2008 Canadian Appaloosa Nationals in Brandon, Manitoba, and all the Appaloosa Horse Association of Alberta shows in 2008. The intense 2008 show season demonstrated her naturally calm demeanor and passion for the show ring. Her success in the trail classes at the AHAA ApHC registered shows qualified her for Appaloosa Worlds in trail. Ziggy is an experienced show horse with an exceptional mind and her age qualifies her for junior horse classes. Her experience, mind and movement make her primed to win major championships in 2009.
