Ricky is a coming 5 year old Azteca Gelding, He has been started using Natural Horsemanship methods. I have owned him since he was 5 months old, and he has pretty much been ready to ride since 7 months... (he just needed some miracle grow) He has been ridden only a handful of times, due to a new baby, but he takes everything in stride. Every ride has been uneventful(in the negative sense anyway!) he is a superb colt. Very intelligent, learns quick, loves people but knows how to listen. His first trailride was his third or so real ride, with 7 other horses, and he was the 2nd best in the group. Very quiet, crossed everything like a champ, very comfortable in the new and changing surroundings. This horse is my baby, and i would never in a million years sell him, except that he is a bit of a houdini when it comes to my fence, and i live by a highway. I have a simple electric tape fence, and he is very proficient at getting out of it, solid fences that are too short, he can jump if he wants to. (and has) This is the reason I am selling him! (the ONLY reason) He has a very good foundation on the ground, and a good start to his undersaddle work. Ricky would excel in cutting, dressage or jumping. Flashy mover, sound, rock hard barefoot hooves. If nothing else an excellent trail partner. Call for questions or pictures!
