Drambuie is a gorgeous 2 year old filly with spectacular gaits (check out her trot). Her incredible free shoulder will make her stand out in the dressage ring or get that front end up over a jump. Once she has proven herself in the showring, her pedigree will make her a valuable asset in the broodmare band.
She is by Donner Bube (by Donnerhall out of a Pik Bube mare). Donner Bube has one of the strongest pedigrees to ever come to Canada. He has been shown successfully as a jumper and has the talent to be competitive in the upper levels of dressage. Winner of his stallion test, Donner Bube scored 9s for general impression, engagement and elasticity of gaits, and jumping technique, and 8s for all other categories. His sire, Donnerhall, is one of the top ranked dressage sires in the world. Many successful Donnerhall offspring have been out of Pik Bube I mares, just like Donner Bube.
Her dam, Tia Maria, is a First Premium inspected mare by Wodan. WODAN is an approved elite breeding stallion, approved by the German Hannoverian, Oldenburg, Hessen, Rheinlander, and Badenwuerthenberg (Bawue) registries. He stood at Uelzen, Germany, prior to his importation to North America, and competed at Grand Prix level under Franke Sloothak in the mid 1980s. WODAN himself has produced several International Grand Prix offspring.
Drambuie is very friendly and easy to handle. She has had regular farrier care, deworming and vaccinations. She should mature around 16.2 H.
