Mare needs a new home, please email with any questions!! My husband is needing a horse and I need to sell this mare to make room! I have a 5yo red roan mare beautiful I am looking to trade or sell. Ideally I would like to trade her for a dun, buckskin or palmino gelding. But trades on another color would be entertained. This mare is beautiful, has good papers and will certainly produce pretty babies. She loads, clips, ties, is easy to catch in the pasture, doesnt mind being stalled and will go anywhere you point her. The mare is very quiet, calm and doesnt have any spook in her. I broke her as a 3yo and she has had quite a bit of trail riding. I bought the mare as a barrel prospect and she is just simply too laid back. She would make a wonderful trail horse for someone and would work cattle if trained. She has worked some cows, was started on tracking and roping and seemed to do well. I havent ridden her a whole lot this year as I've had to spend time on some other horses, but she is the same every time I ride her, no worries about her forgetting things. This mare has been wormed, had shots and has been very well taken care of, she does well in the pasture with mares or geldings, she is very submissive I've never seen her fight with another horse. I will only consider her to someone who is willing to give her a good home, I would not be selling her, but I need the space and she needs someone who will enjoy her more and be able to spend more time with her.
