Horse Description
Are you interested in getting into reining? Then "Jack" would make a great first horse for you. He is quiet, completely broke, knows all of the maneuvers, and he doesn't take a lot of riding to get ready to show. "Jack" is a hard stopper, a solid lead changer, and he circles and spins correctly. He clips, ties, stands for the farrier, and trailers without question. While Jack's primary focus has been reining, he would also be an excellent candidate for someone interested in showing All Around in AQHA Novice Amateur or Novice Youth with an emphasis in reining. He has been shown extensively in showmanship and will do Horsemanship, Trail, Western Riding, Hunter Under Saddle as well as Hunter Hack (yes, he DOES jump!). Jack has an AQHYA ROM (Register of Merit) with 13.5 points in American Quarter Horse Youth Reining and he has 40 points in National Reining Horse Youth classes. I've owned Jack since he was a yearling, but no longer have time to ride him. He is a good horse, and I part with him grudgingly. I would like to match him with a home where his talents will be well used to make someone else happy.
