I've owned Rocky for 7 years now, and the only reason I'm selling is because I'm going to college this fall and won't have the time to work all the horses I have. He is too good of a pony to see sitting in the pasture not getting used. He is very gentle and quiet. He's been all over trail riding. I've always had him barefoot and he can handle any level of trail that way. He'll cross water, and is always watching his feet. He also loves working. Take him to a speed events show/rodeo and he'll love you forever. He is a push button barrel horse and pole horse. He also does flags, keyhole, jumping figure 8, team penning, he LOVES to jump also. He's very fast. He's been running low 16's at the big open show patterns, and the few rodeos I've taken him to he's right with everyone else and their times. He has been to a POA show and got some points on him. He could easily go and win the International show in multiple gaming classes. He would make an excellent pony for someone who wants to step up to a faster barrel horse. Not for beginners or riders who are insucure about their riding, but if you're confident or have been riding horses for awhile he will be fine. This pony is so useful you could take him in many directions from here, he still has plenty of go left in him! About a year ago he did have a cloud pop up in his eye one day, but then we had the vet out to enject it with some steroids and ever since then he's been fine. Just keep a fly mask on him and he will be fine. It hasn't bothered him, but it's important to keep his fly mask on him or otherwise it may come back. That's about the only matience he requires. Pretty easy keeper. He gets along just fine with other horses in the pasture, he won't try to dominate, just kinda stays away for awhile.
