Ulyssa is just about everything you'd want in a young Haflinger - size, disposition, color, conformation, and 100% sound. She's a sweet girl that you don't want to miss, with a pretty face and big kind eyes! Ulyssa is well bred, the granddaughter of Nestroy. She is great in the barn and in the herd. She stands well for the vet and farrier, loads, clips, baths, ties, cross-ties, good on high line or temporary fence for you trail riders. No vices. She has had six months under saddle and a couple of years of driving single and double under her belt and is traffic safe for both - she is a confident driver by herself. She's been used mostly for driving and as a trail horse. Ulyssa is a steady and confident horse to ride and really shines on the trail because she has had more experience there. Some of the photos she is at the KHA ride at Fair Hill MD, others at the Wagon Train at Muddy Creek where she was hitched double for the drive and participated in the games the following day. Take her home and finish her your way - she is quick to learn and would shine in any discipline. She's been ridden with a snaffle bit, has a good responsive mouth and sides, a comfortable gait and a good stride. Ulyssa is a willing and pleasant mare who will make anyone proud to own her. I am listing this mare for a friend who doesn't have a computer and the mare is actually not at my barn but at his in Ephrata. I personally rode her at Kettle Creek on a 6 hour trail ride where she was an excellent ride, quiet on the high line and in the temp fence. This mare has lots of stamina and common sense on the trail. Photos will be posted soon.
