Daphne is a beautiful 12 year old appendix AQHA registered mare thatâ€檚 lame due to a fractured navicular bone in her right front foot and now has developed ringbone in her left foot. She had surgery on her fracture two years ago but the stress on the other foot caused the ringbone. She is trained and handles well. She has a great stop and has never offered to rear or buck. She loads and hauls wonderfully and stands perfectly for the farrier. She is in excellent condition and has never been raced or competed on, only pasture riding. She fractured her foot about three years ago somehow while out grazing. She cannot be ridden much longer due to fear of falling with a rider but the vet told me she could be used for breeding. She has fantastic blood lines and would make a great broodmare. I am very attached to her, I have had her since she was two, and I would like to see her get a really good home so I havenâ€檛 even attempted to sell her as of yet. I have four horses and only one is sound to ride, two are geriatric and retired. I donâ€檛 really have room for more than four and I would like to get another horse but not until I can get Daphne a home.
