Born 6-5-09. Docs Racer Reed JW aka Racer is a VERY flashy, stretchy bay filly with a super nice cowhorse and speed combination pedigree. She's got plenty of white to get her noticed with a nice blaze, two front white ankles and a rear left half stocking. Her mother, Docs Dolly Expert, produces athletic babies with speed and style. Dolly is an appendix mare with Doc Bar on her papers going back to Jet Deck top and bottom through Jet Smooth and Shujet. Her maternal grandsire was Deckabo (SI 102). Dolly's mother is an awesome mare that has been a broodmare, ranch mare and is currently our youngest son's ranch, 4-H and family rodeo horse. Racer's sire is JK Jay Reed, a 96% foundation bred stallion with Poco Pine, Continental King, Joe Reed II and Whiskey Bert all on his papers. King-234 is just off his papers and he goes to King P-234 six times. Racer has three dark dots inside her blaze face in the shape of a slightly elongated barrel racing pattern. It could be destiny! This filly is bred to run and really could be your next barrel horse.
UPDATE 11-1-09. 2009 is the first year JK Jay Reed offspring are offered to the public. Our goal is to price them affordably to get them into the hands of people who will use them and prove them. 'Racer' is one awesome, power house of a filly and she has filled out with a nice wide chest, big hip and muscles in all the right places. We cannot find fault in her. Look at her build for a June baby. This picture was taken 9-29-09. Racer is also super friendly and interested in being your friend. She is AQHA Appendix registered with that combination of speed and cow. We have no doubt that she's stout enough to rope and fast enough to catch whatever you set her after. Her white ankles and stocking have developed black dots and her hooves are more dark than white at this point. Picture 7 is of her mother. The last four pictures are of other foals for sale.
