Horse Description

Bodega is a big beautiful black and white tobiano spotted Draft mare. She rides but needs a confident rider. Last October she was used to pack up to 16,000 feet in the Colorado mountains on an elk hunting trip for 2 weeks. She was ALL heart and had no stop even on some of the steepest inclines. She does hobble but requires a strong set (cuz she doesn't really like them) she was turned loose with just a halter and lead to roam freely with no fences and stayed with the herd (also loose) with nothing more than a bell around her neck and all the room in the world too leave had she wanted to. She's very safe around traffic and has a slow trot that can be ridden for miles. She is NOT strong mouthed and uses light aids. She is bred to a 16.2h red roan Quarter Horse stallion for hopefully a blue roan paint foal. She is due May 20th... sonogramed in foal.
