LOOKING to lease out these horses together or rent land. I'm currently going to college at NEO A&M in Miami, Oklahoma. I live in Muskogee. I have 2 mares. Sassy is a breeding stock paint that was raced on the track. I've been training her on barrels. She's a sweethearted mare and is easy to catch in the pasture. I'm not sure if things will work out in January to where she can go off to train for jumping or not. Big Mama is a cutting bred mare that I broke out about 4 months ago, she's hard to catch out in the pasture, but with a feed bucket, she's right there. She's probly the best broke horse I've ever had and the most advanced in our colt breaking class. The only thing I'm working with her on is tucking her head and collecting her movements. She was originally a broodmare. She knows sidepasses, pivots, how to open gates, neck reins better than any horse I've ever rode, responds to leg pressure just as well. I got these 2 horses through a miracle of god. I love them so much and they're the one thing that has kept me going. I will do whatever I have to too keep them. I'm about to leave for basics, will be in the reserves. After I get out I'm able to receive an FFA loan for land, but I need someone locally that has land. If you'd like, you can ride them, and show them while I'm gone. I have people that can take care of them, but if I could pay you to take care of them during my absence, that would be even better. I leave January 19th for basics, will be gone for 9 weeks, come home for 10 days, then leave for AIT for 10 weeks. I'll be stationed at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, so not to far from home. I start back in the fall again at NEO and will need my horses for the college team. Horses mean the world to me. I'm going to school for pre-vet, minor in Equine. I work racehorses every weekend. I'd even break out a few horses when I'm back over the summer if someone will take them. Big Mama is going back to NEO in january for a few months so my friend can use her for a horsemanship class. Both are gorgeous, classy, papered horses. Sassy's (aka Sharp Sassy Chick) sire is the #1 leading barrel racing sire, A Sharper image. Her dam, is Chicks a go go, a Walter's Chick mare, grandsire of the leading race sire, Judys lineage. Big Mama (aka Luna Lady Doc) doesn't have quiet the outstanding pedigree, but nonetheless, is just as good. Doc Barx2, Boon Bar is her grandsire. Coronel Freckles is also a sire in her lines. The only thing about Sas is that she is EXTREMELY Sassy, hence the name. Neither one of them have vices other than Sas needs more work, but I'm confident I can work most of that out of her over break. Please help!!!
