Horse Description
I am selling our 20 yr old, 14.2 hh, registered app mare. She is a "rat tail" app, the old style of appaloosa. She has taught many kids (including my son) and adults how to ride.This was not an easy decision to sell her. She is sound, sane, will load in a trailer, stand for the farrier, very easy to catch, you name it, she does it. I honestly haven't found anything that bothers her. We have shot off fireworks 10 feet in front of her and she just stood and watched. She had a deer jump out in front of her on a trail ride and she just kept on going like nothing ever happened. She even had a horse jump out of a trailer and miss her by inches and again, she just stood there. When I say bombproof I mean she's bombproof. THIS TYPE OF HORSE IS HARD TO FIND. She might not be the prettiest horse on the trail but she is as good as gold and super sweet. We have taken her to local playdays, many trail rides and even a Martha Josey clinic, no she's not fast, just safe. A good home is a must! Up to date on vaccines, negative coggins, teeth floated annually and feet done within last 2 weeks.
