t is with mixed emotions that I am listing my RM mare for sale due to the fact that I am going to try and learn to show Western Pleasure. This is one classic Rocky Mountain Mare with that great Rocky attitude. She was foaled 5/27/1997. She is a gorgeous chocolate with a beautiful head and excellent conformation (she was an international conformation champion weanling). Well bred, easy keeper. NO health issues, utd on all shots, coggins just pulled. Has been trail ridden and shown by youth as young as 8yrs old. Would be a great youth 4H project or a great mount for smaller/older adult. She was my confidence builder. She is registered RMHA and KMHA (reg.#970063).. I can tell you of NO vices. She has never bucked, reared, bolted, bit. She meets me at the gate, is easy to tack up, will stand tied quietly all day. Trailers. Baths, lifts her feet very easily, great for farrier. Not a spooky horse and if she does have a spook it is very mellow, no spins etc. She prefers to ride front of the pack but will ride middle and last. She will walk all day unless you ask her to move up to gait. She is not a high stepping, fast gaiter. She used to pace more but has been in 3months of training to soften her up etc. and now she is gaiting quite nicely when you collect her. Perfect height at just abou 14HH great for beginner or an adult that doesn't want to climb up on a taller horse anymore. Satin has never been "marish". I am looking for a great home for her and someone that will love on her and take care of her as she deserves it. I am only selling her because I am going into a different direction with my horsemanship. I am asking 2,000 You can see videos of her on youtube. Satin has been ridden all winter so you can saddle her up now and head on down the trail! You will love this gal.
