"Tango" is a classy chestnut 2003 mare by Ima Cool Irwin out of our Smooth Town daughter Smooth Bandana. Ima Cool Irwin is the sire of multiple halter and performance futurity champions, World Show halter finalist, superior halter and ROM performance. He is by Ima Cool Skip - 3 time world champion, Superior Halter Horse, sire of world champions, reserve world champions, superiors in performance and halter, & AQHA Champions. At just a few months old, Tango followed in the footsteps of her outstanding pedigree by winning the Canadian National Quarter Horse Gold Rush Junior Filly Futurity and placing 3rd overall for the weanling fillies. She continued her winning ways throughout the year, including being named the Grand Champion Youth mare at the Okanagan show & winning almost $2000 in futurity monies. Tango has a massive front end, huge hip & feminine head complete with a striking white blaze. Tango stands a good 16hh. This mare is massive!! Weeks before the onset of the 2005 show season Tango suffered a serious hock injury after casting herself in her stall. Unfortunately this injury ultimately ended her show career. She is 100% sound but has a small scar on her left hind hock. We expect Tango will follow in her mothers footsteps and bloodlines of being an outstanding producer. HYPP N/N.
