Horse Description
This 6 year old bright bay OTTB was on the track only briefly before retiring to his breeders farm due to human health problems. I have had him in training since Sept. 2005. He is probably the easiest most pleasant horse I have ever ridden! He is currently receiving scores in the high 60's low 70's in training level tests. He has competed in 1 First level test where he also received a very high score. I am not a great dressage rider (I prefer eventing!) which is a testament to this horses natural ability. He is currently schooling leg yield, shoulder in, haunches in, counter canter and is developing a very solid lengthened trot. He is fancy but also easy! Anyone can sit the trot on this horse. He has 3 naturally elastic gaits. He understands and listens to your leg and love to maintain a nice light but very steady contact with your hand. Also great on the trails, he easily crosses water, over logs, doesn't mind being alone or in a group. Nothing spooks this horse! He competely ignores zooming cars, cows, deer, etc. He has a great attitude everywhere. He is the kind of horse you can sit on under a tree between classes and he will fall asleep but then perk right back up and go to work. He has a great work ethic and is very mature for the amount of experience he has had. He has also had some jump schooling and while brave and willing he is being marketed as a dressage horse because this is where he really excels.
